Summer Camp Information:

2008 Payment Transmittal Form:  The 2008 is now ready for you to download and use. Please print out this form and use it to send any Summer Camp registration fees to the PA Dutch Council office. This form can also be found on the Leader Guide DVD.

2008 Merit Badge Schedule:  The newly revised Merit Badge Schedule is now ready for you to download and review. You'll notice that we've increased our class periods from five to six, and added some additional classes to avoid overcrowding in some of the most popular badges.  This is the same form that you'll need to fill out  and send in to register your Scouts for MB classes (please consolidate your information and send one form per troop!)

2008 Leader's Guidebook: The 2008 Camp Leader Guide is now available for you to view and download ! The files are in Adobe PDF format- so if you don't have it, you'll need to download a free version from www.adobe.com .

Whether you are one of our long-time customers, an occasional camper, or even if this will be your first time here, please take the time to read through the entire guidebook. Some pages have remained the same, and some have been added and some have had subtle changes.

MOUNTAIN BOARDING IN 2008!  We are pleased to announce that eight new Mountain Boards have been ordered to arrive in time for the 2008 season. They will be used in conjunction with the TRAILBLAZER PROGRAM.  Exactly what is Mountain Boarding you might ask? Think of it as a cross between snowboarding (without the snow) and extreme skateboarding (with big knobby tires) down the trails of Camp Bashore. You may have seen this event on the "X Games". It is a relatively new sport that was introduced to the Boy Scouts at the last National Jamboree with rave reviews from the many Scouts who tried it at AP Hill. Of course there is a safety training video and protective equipment that must be worn, so it is a very safe sport.
